1.Who you are dealing with

Widgio is operated by Tetiana Korolova, of 83B Heroiv Bresta Street, Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, in Ukraine. “We” and “us” below mean that person or company. “You” means whoever holds the account.

Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record - Paddle is the seller for the transaction, issues the invoice and handles the tax. Their buyer terms apply to the payment itself alongside these terms.

2.What Widgio does

You describe an interactive element - a quiz, a calculator, a form, an FAQ - and Widgio builds one, then gives you a snippet to paste on your website. The widget runs on your site, matches its design automatically, and sends what visitors answer back to your account.

We may change how it works, add things and remove things. If a change removes something you are relying on, we will tell you before it happens where that is possible.

3.Your account

• You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or to have a parent or guardian agreeing on your behalf.
• Give a real email address. It is how we reach you, and how you get back in.
• What happens under your account is your responsibility, including anything done by somebody you gave access to.

4.What you may build with it

A widget you publish sits on your website and speaks to your visitors, so what it says and what it asks for is yours. You agree not to use Widgio to:

• break the law, or help somebody else break it;
• collect sensitive personal information - health, financial account details, government identifiers, anything about someone’s beliefs or origins - Widgio is not built for it and there is no safe way to do it here;
• pretend a widget belongs to somebody it does not;
• mislead people about what happens to what they type in;
• attack the service - probing it, flooding it, or trying to reach data belonging to another account.

If you collect personal information from visitors, you are the one responsible for telling them so and having a lawful reason. Our privacy notice sets out what we do with it on your behalf.

5.What is yours and what is ours

Your wording, your questions, your images and everything a visitor sends you stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them for the purpose of running the service - hosting your widget, showing it on your site, and showing you your leads - and for nothing else. That permission ends when you delete the material or close the account.

The site, the widget engine and the designs behind it stay ours. You get the right to use them while your account is open. You may not resell the builder itself or take it apart to make a competing one - building widgets for your clients with it is exactly what it is for, and that is not what this means.

6.Plans and payment

The free plan stays free. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Paddle, and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown on the pricing page; if we change them, the change applies to your next renewal and not to a period you have already paid for.

Cancel any time from your account. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and then drop to the free plan. Nothing is deleted and nothing is taken off anybody’s website: every widget you have published keeps being served and keeps collecting enquiries. The small “Powered by Widgio” line comes back on them, and publishing a new one goes back to one at a time.

7.Refunds

There is a 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan, for any reason. The details are in the refund policy, which is part of these terms.

8.What we do not promise

We work to keep Widgio running and we will not pretend it cannot break. The service is provided as it is: we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, that a widget will suit every website, or that the wording an AI writes for you will be right without you reading it. Check what a widget says before you publish it - it is going on your site under your name.

9.Where our responsibility ends

If we cause you a loss, what we owe is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it happened. We are not responsible for business you did not win, profit you did not make, or data you did not keep a copy of. You can export your leads at any time, and it is worth doing.

Nothing here limits anything that cannot legally be limited - including liability for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence.

10.Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks section 4, that does not pay, or that puts the service or other people at risk - with warning where warning is possible, and without it where the damage is happening now. If we close your account for something you did not do wrong, we refund the unused part of what you paid.

11.Changes to these terms

We will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change matters - if it changes what you are agreeing to rather than fixing a sentence - we will email you before it takes effect. Carrying on using Widgio afterwards means you accept it; if you do not, cancel, and we will refund the unused part of the period.

12.Law, and disagreements

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, and the courts there are where a dispute would be settled. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, this does not take away rights you have where you live.

Before any of that: write to us. Almost everything is a misunderstanding that an email fixes.
